The hemp plant naturally contains several cannabinoids. CBD and CBG are two different cannabinoids that both interact with the ECS (endocannabinoid system) in slightly different ways. CBG is sometimes referred to as the precursor cannabinoid. The acid form, CBGa, is the the precursor to all the cannabinoids (CBD, CBC, CBG & THC).
